Inspired by the concept of “athletes of the kitchen,” this performance-driven chef uniform reimagines culinary professionals as high-performing athletes, merging Converse’s sport heritage with functional workwear design. The apparel design process focused on concept development, silhouette exploration, and functional detailing to support mobility, comfort, and durability in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Collaboration with the graphic designer ensured cohesive integration of Converse’s visual identity and branding elements, while partnership with the color and materials designer refined the color palette and performance-driven fabric selection. The final design balanced Converse’s athletic legacy with modern, practical culinary functionality.

Inspired by the iconic band that commands attention on the field, the Legion Legacy jacket and pant set seamlessly blends tradition with contemporary streetwear, while staying true to Nike’s atheletic design philosophy. Drawing from the bold elements of the Spartan Legion uniform, this design transcends the marching band—it’s a statement piece for anyone who celebrates the pride, power, and culture of HBCUs. As an innovative final touch, the jacket transforms into a bag—an ideal feature for band members when traveling, making the design both stylish and practical. More than just a fashion statement, the Legion Leacy set highlights the significance of HBCU band culture—a cornerstone of campus life that brings energy, identity, and unity to sporting events and beyond.
